Yes, Pure clinicians can prescribe a wide range of medications, when clinically appropriate. Pure providers do not prescribe narcotic pain relievers or other drugs listed as controlled substances by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency or regulated under State law – see Pure’s Prescription Policy here.
Pure Providers are able to issue notes, referrals, lab orders, or other paperwork when deemed appropriate. Providers are not able to assist with worker’s compensation, FMLA, disability, or insurance paperwork.
Pure is unable to provide paperwork specific to requirements for filing insurance claims.
Pure can provide a letter of medical necessity for certain treatment plans, when appropriate.
Async general access visits cost $39 and Sync/video visit general access costs $75.
When using Pure’s services through an academic institute (Pure Campus Care) or community (Pure Community Care), your cost is determined by the organization’s specific plan – either discounted rates or at no cost. You can reference your organization’s marketing material to learn more about your benefit.
Treatment Programs such as Pure Weight Management Program are available but not included in the institute plans, and available for as little as $365 for the full program. You will be charged only per visit and there is no commitment.
Your insurance does not cover Pure. Pure is available to patients outside of insurance. Pure does accept payment from FSA, HSA, and HRA accounts, and cannot provide service to Government plan beneficiaries. Pure is not health insurance and is not intended to replace comprehensive health coverage.
To pay for the medication, at the pharmacy, the pharmacy may accept your insurance if medication is covered.
Everyone’s insurance is different. Please verify that the pharmacy you select is within your covered network before choosing it as your preferred pharmacy.
