- Controlled substances are NOT prescribed by Pure (see Pure’s Prescription Policy)
- Review the DEA Controlled Substances Schedule if you are interested in a particular prescription and are uncertain if it is listed as a controlled substance
- Not all refill requests may be approved if clinical review determines in-person care is needed

What is RxRefill?
Pure’s Rx Refill service lets you renew eligible, previously prescribed non-controlled substances medications through a simple online request.
A Pure clinician reviews your medical history and current needs to ensure the refill is safe and appropriate. If suitable, your prescription is renewed to help you continue your treatment without needing an in-person visit.
RxRefills intake and requests include:
- Upload your previous prescription
- Provide your current medication name, dose, and how you are taking it
- Share relevant medical history and general health information, allergies, etc.
- A Pure clinician will review your request and medical information
- Pure clinician may contact you if additional questions or clarification are needed
- Pure clinician will determine if the refill is clinically appropriate and safe
Common treatment
Pure clincian will review your RxRefill request and will determine whether appropriate to refill online. They may recommend the following, as
medically appropriate:
Refill medications for 1-3 months
Suggest you see your direct primary care provider or specialist who prescribed the medication previously
Recommend labs prior to prescription
*Controlled substances not prescribed

A clinician reviews your case and messages you directly.
Step 3 - Care Plan & Rx
Receive your diagnosis and treatment plan. Prescriptions are sent to your pharmacy of choice when medically appropriate.

Step 5 - Proactive Follow-Up
Our concierge team will check in to confirm your treatment is right for you and your recovery is on track.
