Prescription Policy
Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding e-prescribing.
Pure’s clinicians prescribe many of the commonly used, non-controlled medications for a wide range of conditions such as infections, hypertension, anxiety, birth control, etc Pure clinicians may not initially prescribe certain medication, but will refill previously prescribed medications by the patient’s primary care or specialist provider, such as maintenance medications for chronic conditions (e.g., antihypertensives, cholesterol medications, or thyroid hormones). Some medications may require current labs prior to refill.
As a telemedicine company we cannot prescribe or refill Federal or State controlled substances.
Therefore, we DO NOT prescribe controlled substances, including most muscle relaxants, narcotics, ADD/ADHD medication, and insomnia medications, such as:
